This painting reflects the resistance I faced from those who doubted my path as an artist. The faded green background symbolizes people from my past, whose envy created obstacles meant to hold me back. The use of green stems from the phrase “green with envy”. The ropes represent the repeated attempts others made to limit my progress— yet I always moved forward, refusing to be restrained. The light ahead is my goal—always within sight, though often feeling just out of reach. This piece is a tribute to resilience and the unbreakable drive that kept me pushing toward my vision, despite the weight of others’ doubts.
