The Same Dirt (2025)

Emerging from a place of triumph, this painting explores how people often recognize someone's beauty and try to bury it out of sight. They forget that the very isolation meant to silence someone is what forges the resilient person they always feared seeing. After all, the soil that attempts to hold a flower down is the exact earth from which it rises.
