About Me:
I’m Cerena Robertson, a painter based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I’ve been creating art since I was five years old, driven by a desire to bring more color and vibrancy into the world. Growing up, I realized I wanted to make the kind of art I hadn’t yet seen—bold, energetic, and full of life. By fifteen, I was painting professionally, sharing my work on social media, and connecting with art lovers who resonated with my vision.
Although I started with colored pencils, my focus now is on acrylic and oil painting. My work reflects the beauty I see in everyday life, using bright pigments and a semi-realistic style to reimagine reality. After earning a scholarship to a prestigious high school with a strong art program, the Episcopal Academy, I honed my craft and deepened my passion for the visual arts. I briefly attended Temple University but soon realized my path was best pursued outside of the classroom. Leaving school allowed me to focus fully on my art, turning my passion into a career.
Today, I continue to paint, exhibit my work, and teach, sharing my love for art with others. If my work speaks to you, I invite you to bring a piece into your space—whether through an original painting or a high-quality print.
